Marceline Voters to Decide on $30 Million Bond Nov. 4

MARCELINE - The City of Marceline is asking residents to weigh in on a major infrastructure proposal that could shape the future of the community’s water and sewer systems for decades to come. On Nov. 4, 2025, citizens will vote on a $30 million Waterworks and Sewerage System Revenue Bond, a measure designed to fund long-term upgrades, improvements, and repairs to the city’s vital utility services.

Brookfield FCCLA Leads Beyond Limits at Region 3 Meeting

The Brookfield FCCLA traveled to Schyuler County High School on Monday, September 22, 2025, for their Region 3 Meeting. The theme was Lead Beyond Limits and chapters took banners and name tags designed by their members to display in the parade of presidents. There was a business meeting, games, door prizes, a keynote speaker from Lifeline and rotating workshops. Brookfield was represented with 32 members and two advisors.
